NFL Cut Day…

Published by aebersole at 5:37 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

There were some medium to big names cut in the NFL this week, but the one that most effects fantasy owners is Rudi Johnson.

The Bengals sent Johnson packing, but really this should not have been a surprise. The back had few touches during camp and last week the Bengals put out the word they were looking to trade him. There were no takers so Cincy cut Johnson and will now turn to Chris Perry.

Perry could be a star, but he has yet to complete anything near a full season. Fragile and injury prone, Perry is big play threat and injury risk for any fantasy owner.

Other things to watch for is Kurt Warner, who appears to be the starter in Arizona. Derek Anderson’s status is still in question, leaving the possibility that Brady Quinn could start in Cleveland. If he makes the most it, don’t be surprised if Anderson is done with the Browns.
